Crankworx Rotorua 2019 Kicks Off With Dual Slalom

While we might all still be buried under one of the deepest snowpacks we’ve seen in awhile in North America, our mountain biking brethren just kicked off the first stop of the Crankworx 2019 World Tour in Rotorua, New Zealand. A gathering of like-minded shredders, Crankworx acts as a celebration of sport and a lifestyle we all share – and comes at a time of deep sadness for the community after the nation’s recent violent events.

However, riders took this chance to shut off and focus on what lay ahead of them: the first dual slalom race of the new season. Full replay is above, with highlights to come.

Dual Slalom Results:

Men: 1st - Keegan Wright, 2nd - Bas Van Steenbergen, 3rd - Kyle Strait, 4th - Barry Nobles
