The Briton, now referred to as a 'superspreader,' was not officially diagnosed until he returned to the UK from his business trip in Singapore. All five resort guests are in stable condition and in treatment, including a nine-year-old boy. The two schools he attends will be closed and under quarantine over the next week. This recent outbreak adds to the growing frenzy surrounding the rapidly spreading virus; over 35,000 individuals have been diagnosed since the outbreak began in Wuhan, China early in January.
