Colorado Based Newcomers Program Helps Introduce Immigrants to Skiing

It's time for some positive news. To get our mind right for the weekend's activities. To cleanse the palate. 

Check out Newcomers Ski Group, a Colorado-based ski collective that "aims to inspire first and second-generation immigrants to experience skiing."

Skiing is expensive. Cobbling together the right gear, proper clothing, and lift passes can be prohibitively expensive, not to mention travel, accommodation, and food costs. Newcomers Ski Group is changing that for these folks, making it possible and, most importantly, making it fun, for first-time skiers to get out on the hill.
