Cody Townsend Scores a 3-Meter Storm in Gulmarg

For three years running, Salomon has invited one lucky person on the trip of a lifetime to far-flung ski destinations around the world. The latest winner, 22-year-old Swede Lovisa Rosengren, picked Gulmarg, India as her destination. She expected a trip filled with a rich cultural experience, but little did she know that she was in for some of the deepest powder skiing of her life. A 3-meter storm rolled in, and unfortunately Rosengren was forced to ski it with Cody Townsend and Kalen Thorien on some of the most beautiful terrain in the world: the gateway to the Himalaya.
