For freeride mountain bikers, southwestern Utah might as well be Shangri-La. Big descents, loose dirt, and insane natural airs make this area a mecca for anyone whose idea of fun involves launching themselves into the stratosphere on two wheels.
Last fall, after an absolutely packed season of racing, competition, and filming projects like TGR’s Corbet's shoot, Casey Brown joined her Dakine teammates Thomas Vanderham, Graham Agassiz and Carson Storch on a little desert trip for some late-season relaxation.

The crew set up right outside Zion National Park, hitting the plethora of classic trails in the area.
While millions of people come here every year to revel in the beauty of the desert, the Dakine crew explored some slightly different areas than most. We don’t want to give away the goods, but perhaps you will recognize a few of the kickers and scarily steep descents. The best part? Coming back to basecamp every night to kick it around the fire and take in the desert vibes.
