A very active system dropped nearly 4 feet of snow to many areas of Colorado over the past 4 days. Here are a few of the highlights from this past week.

Wolf Creek: 40 inches
Aspen: 36 inches
Vail: 32 inches
Telluride: 32 inches
Park City: 29 inches (Surprise dumps where the Cottonwoods got less due to southerly and SE wind directions).

The Pacific Northwest grab a decent cold storm tonight through noon on Thursday. Moderate to heavy snow will be falling over the Oregon and Washington Cascades with cold temperatures (Good quality snow). Amounts should range from 8-14 inches with perhaps the highest amounts seen towards Mount Baker. Whistler should grab moderate snow.

This system races across interior Washington (4-8) Idaho (4-8) Southern Montana, Wyoming and Utah. The Tetons stand the best chance of slightly higher amounts on Thursday (3-6-) where most spots in the northern Rockies grab light snow.

Another moderate-strong low system races into the Northwest Friday night and Saturday. This brings warmer temps followed by cold air continuing into the weekend (initially dense followed by good quality). This system may be best for areas from Whistler, Interior BC and most of the Cascade range of Washington (moderate amounts). Storm #2 takes a northerly track over Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana beginning Saturday morning bringing a quick freshening to many areas for the weekend (light to moderate amounts).
