Calling All Santas: 200 Free Tickets Up for Grabs at Brighton Resort
Popular Stories
Forget the milk and cookies; Brighton Resort is serving up something much better this Christmas morning. In what has become one of the most legendary holiday traditions in Utah, the resort is once again offering free lift tickets to the first 200 people who show up in full holiday attire. Whether you’re channeling your inner Saint Nick or feeling a bit more like the Grinch, if you’ve got the suit, you’ve got the stash.
The Santa Shred Protocol
On December 25th, the first 200 skiers and riders dressed head-to-toe as Santa, Mrs. Claus, or even a holiday elf will receive a free lift ticket at the ticket window. It’s a first-come, first-served situation, so you’ll want to drop in early before the "Santa Squad" reaches capacity. To make the morning even better, Brighton is waiving parking reservations for Christmas Day, meaning one less barrier between you and those holiday turns.

The 11:30 AM Majestic Meetup
The real magic happens mid-morning. At 11:30 AM, the costumed crew will gather at the top of the Majestic lift for the annual Santa Ski Run. Imagine a sea of red velvet and white beards charging down the mountain in one massive, festive wave. If you're planning to join the group lap, make sure to be at the Majestic lift by 11:00 AM.
Holiday Vibes
We live for the days that prioritize community and fun over everything else. While we usually focus on the high-consequence lines, there’s something undeniably entertaining about 200 Santas taking over a resort. It’s about the stoke of the season and keeping the energy high, regardless of the gear (or costume) you're rocking.
