BCA Avi Rescue Series – Lesson 4 – The signal search

In the 4th episode of this series, Jim Conway goes over the basics of a signal search. Techniques such as the last seen point and searching trees is reviewed as a procedure before the beacon search happens. Once the beacon search begins, Jim goes over search patterns for large and small groups, effective ranges, and to continuously reorient the beacon.
