Aymar Navarro’s South Lines is Back, and its GOOD

Each summer, those of us twiddling our thumbs waiting for snow in the northern hemisphere are treated to a visual feast courtesy of Aymar Navarro absolutely slaying big mountain lines in South America. This summer, nothing has changed. Navarro and photographer Txema Trull are back at it, chasing snow around the Andes and hunting the skinniest couloirs they can find.

Thanks to some recent heavy snow and good conditions, they dropped Episode 1 of this year’s edition of South Lines. The couloirs in question are in Las Cuevas, a tiny town on the Argentine side of the Argentina-Chile border.
