A Surf Trip To Wyoming Changed Professional Surfer Dylan Graves’ Life

A surf trip to land locked Wyoming back in 2014 changed professional surfer Dylan Graves' life.

In the mid-2010's Dylan Graves linked up with TGR Athlete Cam Fitzpatrick, legendary Bryan Iguchi, and Mike Fitspatrick (yes, Cam's dad) who is the first to ever surf the infamous Snake River wave back in the early 70's.

Most surfers usually seek the countless breaks found along coastlines or in the open ocean, but a trip to Wyoming changed Dylan's perspective. Since then, he's been on the hunt for more novelty waves, which ultimately led to the creation of his most recent web series 'Weird Waves'.

Despite being busy with documenting his sessions for the Weird Waves web series, Dylan has come full circle. He has returned to Jackson to ride the backyard wave once again, reconnecting with the inspiring scene that originally set him on his current path.

It's a magical feeling to experience 10,000 cubic feet per second of water flowing underneath your feet as you connect turns from river bank to river bank. River conditions lined up to a tee for Dylan and the crew to have a session that is bound to be stained in their minds for some time.

Keep your eyes peeled for the fourth season of Weird Waves premiering July 3rd on Surfline!
