A Quick Reminder That It’s The Unexpected That Makes It A Real Adventure

When we set out in search of adventure, plans are what get us there in the first place. However, it’s what happens past the plan that really makes it the adventure. This group decided to just go for it, heading down to the tip of South America on an 18-day backpacking trip through Patagonia. Home to some of the worst weather in the world, these friends fought through, embracing whatever was thrown at them (sometimes quite literally), and make it to their goal: watching the sun rise atop the Torres del Paine. Along the way, they recognized that adventure in real life is not like in the movies, that getting through all the suffering and unexpected roadblocks are really what makes it so fulfilling. The beautiful vistas, people, and experiences are just the icing on the cake.
