A Look Into Extreme “Mountain Skiing” With Salomon TV’s 50° North

To be a skilled ski mountaineer, it isn't just important to make it to the bottom of your line, it's essential in order to make it out of the mountains alive, and a skill French skiers and mountaineers Alex Pitten and Tony Lamiche have nearly perfected. Alex is a former French Alpine Ski Team member, and Tony is a former French rock climbing and ice climbing champion, and the duo are now taking their skills to some of the steepest mountains in the world. 

Solomon TV's latest film "50° North - The Movie" takes a deeper look into what these two call "mountain skiing" from skiing and climbing these steep slopes to the necessary technical knowledge required to take on these mountains.
