

A Full Slate of Snow and Ski Films Drops This Weekend in Salt Lake City

The air is crisp and the winter stoke is at an all-time high in Utah. If you live in the Wasatch Front, your calendar just filled up. This weekend, Salt Lake City and Park City are hosting a ridiculous lineup of action sports film premieres, transforming the area into the absolute epicenter of snow culture. From high-octane street clips to deep powder backcountry lines, there is something for every rider and skier to get hyped on.
Thursday Night: Kicking It Off with Tr3 D32ce
The energy starts tonight, Thursday (November 6, 2025), with the premiere of ThirtyTwo’s latest team movie, Tr3 D32ce. The screening is set to take place at Milosport, the original snowboard shop of Salt Lake City, Utah.
This new film features a stacked roster of heavy hitters, including Joey Fava, Pat Fava, Scott Stevens, Phil Hansen, Scott Blum, Bode Merrill, and Chris Grenier. The team traveled the globe to film for this project. So, make the move to Milosport to get a taste of the global shred scene before you hit the local hills.
Friday: Double the Action with Atlas 2 and After The Snowfall
First up in Salt Lake City, 686 is taking over Evo to premiere their team movie, Atlas 2. This project is the sequel to a street-focused film directed by Colton Feldman and features the riding of Tommy Gesme, Savannah Shinske, Cooper Whittier, and Robby Meehan. For those who live for the urban landscape, this is your event. Additionally, Evo will host a premiere of the 686 backcountry film, Curveball, featuring Darrah Reid-MacLean and Blake Moller.
Meanwhile, up in Park City, another must-see film is dropping. Matchstick Productions’ high-octane and heartfelt ski film, After The Snowfall, is screening at the Jim Santy Auditorium, with shows running Saturday and Sunday also. The film is a reminder that skiing is truly a way of life, showcasing an elite crew like Michelle Parker, Nikolai Schirmer, and Nico Porteous. This MSP film promises big-mountain thrills alongside honest reflections on why we chase the storm.

Saturday: The Grand Finale with Torment Magazine Issue 8
The weekend culminates on Saturday with the Torment Magazine Issue 8 Release Party. Moving to a new venue, Mutiny Music Collective, the event promises big warehouse vibes with skating, food trucks, and, of course, the release of their newest issue and Fall '25 Collection.
This year, they are setting up activities and multiple screenings, including Jacob Krugmire’s It’s a Mess. It’s a chance to connect with the local community before the chairs start spinning and get inspired.
