A-Basin Snakes Keystone to Opening Day this Weekend

On Friday morning, Keystone announced that they would be the first resort to open with lift access for the winter season. Shortly thereafter, Arapahoe Basin responded by one-upping them and saying they would in fact open that afternoon. At 3:30pm on Friday, October 12th, the Colorado ski season officially kicked off when the first skiers and snowboarders descended the infamous White Ribbon of Death off the top of A-Basin’s Black Mountain Express lift. Both mountains are now open seven days a week and are planning on adding more terrain to ride as soon as possible.
