30 Years of Legends and Duct Tape

For 30 years the Legendary Banked Slalom has been proving grounds for major snowboarders to retain their title and for up-and-coming snowboarders to show where they're headed and find recognition. This year was no exception as Maelle Ricker won her 8th LBS title in the Pro Women's category, and Mathieu Crepel won the Pro Men's category (on a sweet swallowtail GNU board, I might add).

Over the past three decades the LBS, which takes place on Mount Baker's natural half pipe, has crowned winners including Craig Kelly, Terje Haakonsen, Lucas DeBari, Karleen Jeffery, Xavier Deleru, Temple Cummins, and Shaun White. For the full LBS Honor Roll, click here.
