The 2025-26 FIS Alpine Calendar just dropped, and this season is poised to be a historic one, delivering thrilling downhill, slalom, giant slalom, and Super-G all year long. Early season battles will reach a fever pitch as the January 18 Olympic qualifying deadline approaches. The 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, Italy splits the season in February. With 38 events each for men and women, the calendar balances technical and speed disciplines with key high-stakes weekends for athletes chasing the Crystal Globe and Olympic qualification.

  • 38 events: 20 tech (9 GS, 11 Slalom) & 18 speed (9 Downhill, 9 Super-G)
  • Calendar changes: Crans Montana Super-G converted to Downhill, additional Downhill added at Beaver Creek

Olympics and Qualification Notes

  • The Milan-Cortina Olympics will be the centerpiece of the season.
  • Athletes will compete for Olympic spots until the Jan 18, 2026, FIS points cutoff, which averages the five best tech events and two best speed events.
  • Each nation can enter four women per event and 11 alpine skiers in total, making early-season races critical.
