Increasingly, riders are skinning into the backcountry to throw down.  Lucky for them, Never Summer’s SL Split is designed for such endeavors.  This directional twin offers heavyweight performance in a lightweight package.  P-tex sidewalls and a Carbonium topsheet add to the deck’s durability while its Carbonium Laminate Technology provides a responsive ride and torsional stability by surrounding the core with a top and base carbon matrix.  And thanks to Never Summer’s Rocker Camber profile, the SL Split is especially versatile.  This profile blends rocker between the feet with camber outside of them to provide both a crisp ride and serious flotation.  For charging hard and dicing through ice, the deck features Never Summer’s Vario Power Grip sidecut.  Thanks to a pronounced contact point around the bindings, this design offers increased edgehold.  And although the SL Split is designed for hard charging riders, it’s forgiving enough for riders just starting to explore the backcountry.  Built in Denver and ridden across the globe, the SL Split embraces adventure.
