Silverton, Colorado is home to some of the gnarliest terrain in the lower 48 states. It’s also home to Venture Snowboards. Through the years, Venture has gained a reputation for crafting boards that ride exceptionally well—and are incredibly durable. Its Odin Split definitely lives up to this reputation. The board is the result of a close collaboration between big mountain legend Johan Olofosson and Venture cofounder and design engineer Klemens Branner. The Odin’s moderate, quadratic sidecut aids in laying down wide, arching turns and provides crisp edge hold. With zero camber beneath the feet and a rockered tip and tail, the directional design ensures you can rally with confidence and plane through pow. The board’s triaxial fiberglass, p-tex sidewalls, and poplar and ash core provide the durability you need—especially when deep in the backcountry. For your next backcountry partner, saddle up to the Odin.
Reviewer Insights: "The Odin skins and rides like a champ. The board is at home slashing pow turns, but is equally capable navigating tight terrain. It may be a touch heavier than some splits, but it will last far longer and go many places that would devour other decks. Whether skinning or riding, you can feel that this thing is solid and has your back."
