Black Diamond’s Amperage aims to do it all.  With a 115 waist, wood core, camber underfoot, and a rockered tip and tail, the AMPerage is at home cranking turns on the hardpack and charging through the pow.  This year Black Diamond lightly stiffened the ski beyond the contact point in the tail to give it a little more freestyle finesse.  This additional stiffness allows for snappy ollies and clean landings.  This year’s Amperage also sports a new 8mm ABS sidewall for holding an edge when charging hard.  Whether ripping groomers or sending it in the backcountry, Black Diamond’s Amperage kicks out some serious energy.

Reviewer Insights: "This ski is good for somebody who wants to ski gnarly lines in soft to variable snow.  It’s playfully directional."
