100 Seconds of “Hell Yeah!!” on Two Wheels

In the "About" section of Brandon Semenuk's Facebook page, he claims, "I have no special talent...I am only passionately curious." But these 100 seconds of WOW rebut that first part; Semenuk's for sure got a little something something unique going on. 

For this Raw 100 video–Raw 100 is a Red Bull video series that highlights filmmakers' talent and creativity by limiting videos to 100 seconds, no slowmo or music–Semenuk travelled from his home in Canada to California to pin it on the old X Games BMX downhill race course at Woodward West, a course that hasn't been used since the early 2000's.

The ethereal atmosphere and crisp audio are pretty cool. And I guess Semenuk's scrubs, delayed whips, nose grind to no-hands, and rear wheel slide on the knuckle are pretty cool, too. This is one video to archive, course to bookmark, and rider to follow. 

If I ever wrote home anymore, I'd probably write about this.
