Jeremy Jones’ first descent of the Shangri-La Spine Wall—a 2,000-foot line within a day’s walk from Everest base camp—was an incredible accomplishment.

The Deeper, Further, Higher series he and TGR had been working on for the past six years was coming to an end, and this beautiful never-ridden wall was the grand finale.

    Jeremy Jones, snowboarder and mountain climber, is no stranger to extreme challenges. But one of the most difficult lines he has ever ridden was a spine line in Shangri-La, Tibet. The terrain was steep and treacherous and the conditions were icy cold - but Jones tackled it with determination and skill. His passion for conquering the elements drove him to push his boundaries and tackle this spine line, despite the immense risk. It was a true test of his courage, strength and commitment to snowboarding that enabled him to reach the top in one piece.
