Up there on the list of satisfying things are ironing out wrinkles, cracking into creme brûlée, and playing with kinetic sand (Youtube that, stat). But what takes the cake is watching boarders make big turns. Throw in steep faces and deep snow, and you've got something not even your mom's meatloaf rivals.
After a plain wrong dry season, Chamonix got some lovin' of the white, powdery form, and, itching to get after it, Luca Pandolfi and his mate, Matteo Calcamuggi, climbed (and then tore up) Aiguille Qui-Remue's North Face. Had they not, Pandolfi said in good ol' Italian fashion, "I will become crazy."
With snow peacing out for the season, videos like Pandolfi's are pretty much better than you know what. Nicely done, lads.
