Things That Connect Us is a collaborative project between skiers Josh Absenger, Martin Hauck, and filmmaker Thomas Dunzendorfer. The goal was to show how freeskiing and all its different aspects unite us, and how, through shredding together, it solidifies a bond between people.
The movie was shot on location in Austria and Japan on a shoestring budget. With three main riders: Josh Absenger, Martin Hauck and Daniel Maurer, as well as three guestriders: Achim Winter, Tobi Gratz and Roy Kittler, Things That Connect Us features powder, park and urban segments.
