Ski Shaper Loses 400-Year-Old Shop & Tools to Fire
Peter Stelzner found his calling when he began shaping wooden skis in 2010. Last Friday, the American-born ski shaper lost all his possessions, including his 400-year-old historic home and shaping equipment to a fire in Chamonix.

His brand " Rabbit On The Roof" has become well known by passionate skiers for its artistic and unique designs. All his skis are crafted by hand in an old hydraulic sawmill.
