Salomon Freeski Boasts Spectacular Drone Footage of Glaciated Alps

Salomon Freeski TV just dropped their latest episode featuring skiers Mike Douglas and Alexis Godbout on an epic ski trip along the Urner traverse in the Swiss Alps. Due to inclement weather they were not able to complete the traverse, but the section they did ski was still well worth the journey.

The cinematography, as per usual with Salomon Freeski TV, is superb. Drone footage helps place perspective on the skiers and showcase the enormity of the valleys and peaks in this zone.

The excitement comes in pulses throughout this 14 minute film, following an enjoyable formula of epic ski footage, reflective monologue, and more epic skiing. As the trip progresses, Mike and Alexis gain confidence in their touring setups (this is Alexis's first ski touring trip) and charge burlier and burlier lines, boosting big cliffs and arcing downhill turns on top of powdered glaciers. All in all, this episode is well worth the watch.
