The Art of Getting Extreme When It’s Not Necessary - Behind The Line: Season 7 Episode 7

La Grave, France is a mecca for “extreme skiers,” attracting such legends as Doug Coombs. The place is known for its dangerous off-piste runs and has no formal avalanche control. In order to ride here you have to be on your game. This past winter Ian McIntosh, Johnny Collinson, and Todd Ligare traveled to France to ski these extreme mountains. The boys developed the term “La Graving” for getting “extreme” when it is not necessary, poking fun at the hardcore culture in the area. Experience the boys “La Graving” in the chalet, “La Graving” to town, and “La Graving” in the mountains in this episode of Behind the Line.

Check out Ian McIntosh sending the Y Couloir in La Grave, France.
