This is Why Falling on an Ice Climb is a Bad Idea

In the wise words of veteran ice climber Will Gadd, the odds that you will get seriously injured during a lead fall while ice climbing are about 2:1. This guy broke the one rule of ice climbing and was incredibly lucky that his huge whipper did not end any worse. He definitely owes his buddy a beer or three for the catch.
