Jim Niehues is an artist with maybe the best job in the world. He hand paints ski trail maps. Since he started this profession he's hand painted over 200 detailed ski maps at some of the world's top resorts over the past 30 years. Chances are when you head to a new resort you are looking at Jim's work.

Jim is a master, and thanks for covering his work. My company takes this beautiful artwork, and makes it interactive by pulling in current conditions data to reveal which trails and lifts are open/closed - or which have snowmaking, grooming, bumps or a race course setup.
