After racing from Val d'Isere to St Gervais/Mont Blanc, a distance of 180 miles, with a total timed descent of 75,000 feet (on a total descent of over 100,000 feet) over 30 stages, one of the world's hardest multi-stage super enduros drew to a close.
What makes this race so special, aside from the trails, the pro riders and the incredibly difficult feat of just finishing, is that it succeeds in being a grass-roots good time. It brings people together and keeps the joy of mountain biking and the love of the sport.
Kudos to all the volunteers and Trail Addiction crew for continuing to put on one of the calendar's main events, cementing the Trans Savoie as one of the places to be every summer.
