After riding his name to the top of BMX, Drew Bezanson was looking for his next challenge in the biking world. After the release of his film Uncontainable, many in slope style mountain biking had their eyes on him. Bezanson's Red Bull series "The Learning Curve" will follow him as he attempts to conquer the skills of a slope style mountain biker. By riding in the FMB tour this summer he hopes to qualify for Red Bull Joyride 2016 in Whistler, BC on August 21. Typically this niche sport gathers its participants from an array of other biking disciplines, but this is the first time that a professional BMX rider will be throwing his hat into the ring.

Episode 1 leaves you wanting more and feeling like Drew is a boss. But slope style mountain biking is a cruel mistress that has unforgiving fans who expect only the harshest slope conditions and biggest hits.
Drew is currently sitting in 20th in the FMB tour standings, but unlike the other riders, he has not participated in all of the events in the tour. He will have to focus to earn the qualification, but it is something that is still very attainable for an athlete of his caliber.
