Red Lodge Mtn.
Red Lodge, MT
Red Lodge Mountain is one of those places that is hit or miss. It can not snow in weeks, then dump three feet in a single day, especially late in the season when storms seem to engulf the surrounding Beartooth Range. Regardless of the snow conditions, a visit to Red Lodge is worth it. There is terrain for all abilities, the people are friendly, and the scenery may be the best of any resort in the state. Being a few minutes away from the bustling mountain town of Red Lodge is a bonus, too, and a stop in the legendary Snow Creek Saloon is a must.
