Watch the latest episode of Teton Gravity Research’s web series Almost Live to get an inside look at the making of The Dream Factory. From the first concept to the final stages of editing, hours upon hours were spent digging through archives, tracking down people and shooting some of the post progressive riding to date. Along the way, the crew met some interesting characters that would ultimately shape the final storyline and give this film a unique feel.

Teton Gravity Research’s Almost Live series takes you around the globe with the TGR production team and athletes. Get an inside look at what goes into first descents, building and hitting massive backcountry jumps, traveling throughout the most exotic locales on the planet, and the lives of the world’s top riders. Almost Live plants you on location with the TGR crew. You will be able to track the crew’s progress throughout the season, and watch the drama unfold.

TGR Segment To Air On NBC World Of Adventure Sports Oct. 14

The above Teton Gravity Research clip was featured last year on NBC’s World of Adventure Sports. An Adam Clark photo of the line Ian McIntosh is skiing in this clip is featured in this month’s issue of The Ski Journal – volume six, number one.

NEW YORK, New York – The World of Adventure Sports® (WOAS), an action and adventure sports series, will air on Sunday, October 14th at 2:30 p.m. ET/11:30 p.m. PT. Host, Todd Harris of NBC Sports brings viewers the premier episode of the 2012 season from Teva Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado.

Footage from Teton Gravity Research’s newest film, The Dream Factory, will be featured on the show.

Fueled by the desire to explore new terrain, the Teton Gravity Research athletes and crew embark on a heli-skiing pilgrimage to a relatively unexplored zone in the northwest corner of the Northern Chugach mountain range in Alaska. Follow TGR on this adventure of exploration as they ski big mountain first descents in Alaska while filming for their 2012 ski and snowboard film “The Dream Factory.”

Teton Gravity Research will again be featured on WOAS on Nov. 18.

TGR Studios just finished post production on short and long form commercial spots for iPhone accessory company, Optrix. Wanting to capitalize on the popular POV market, Optrix created a water and impact proof case for the iPhone. After given an incredible opportunity to partner with Best Buy, Optrix called on Studios to create a promo video that showcases the product and it’s versatility. In just a few days TGR called on Jackson’s top athletes to document their pursuits with the Optrix and the iPhone. 8 sports and 22 athletes later, Studios left no doubt concerning Optrix’s potential by pairing visually stunning cinematography and dynamic POV footage.
