Oakley Unification Pro Jacket Review

The new Seth Morrison inspired Unification Pro Jacket is easily one of the best jackets available in any price range and one of my top three favorites this season.

Oakley Great Ascent Jacket Review - Mens

It’s one of the best looking kits this season. The Great Ascent jacket will easily put a smile on most riders’ faces and should not be overlooked.

Burton Sluff Fleece Hoodie Review

It’s about time snow sports companies started turning their hoodies into high-tech layering pieces. I picked up the brand new Sluff Fleece while I was visiting some people at Burton’s HQ a few months back and have worn it almost every day since then. It’s just one of the most versatile pieces I own.

Dragon Gigi Ruf APXs Goggles Review

It’s really hard to go wrong with any Dragon goggles. From the discontinued Mace goggles (my favorite goggles for many years) to the Rogues (the TJ Schiller version super sick!) to the full-size APX goggles, they’re all killer. Well, this season I received a brand new pair of Dragon Gigi Ruf APXs goggles and these quickly moved up into my top spot for Dragon goggles.

SWIX Cobra Ski Poles Review

When it comes to choosing wax and tuning products for my skis, I always choose SWIX. I’ve used SWIX products ever since I was a little kid growing up in Alaska and they’ve never let me down. I recently received my first pair of SWIX Cobra premium carbon composite ski poles and was happy to learn that they too feature the high-quality craftsmanship that I’ve come to expect from past and current SWIX products.

POC Fornix Helmet Review

Concussions are stupid. Multiple concussions can make you stupid. That’s why I’m such a huge proponent of wearing a helmet while skiing. However, I don’t actually enjoy actually wearing a helmet since they’re usually heavy and cumbersome. Enter the POC Fornix. The Fornix gives you the sensation of wearing a beanie while also providing you with the best head protection available.

Patagonia PowSlayer Bib Pants Review

When Old Man Winter shows you his nastiest side this season, don’t be afraid if you’re killin’ it in a pair of Patagonia PowSlayer bib pants. Deep pow, pouring rain and gale force winds are absolutely no match for these new Patagonia bibs. You’ll stay dry no matter how bad it gets outside.

Oakley Unification Pro Pants Review

If you’re looking to unleash your inner Seth (Morrison) this winter then you’ll want to pair the Oakley Unification Pro jacket with these pants. These two pieces create one very impressive outfit for athletes at the top of their game who want high-end materials and performance to take their skiing to the next level. Hell, if they work for Seth, there’s a good chance that they can work for you too.

Oakley Great Ascent Pants Review

Lightening Green! That’s the color of Oakley Great Ascent pants to get. They’re bright, loud and badass. Also, if you get yourself stuck upside down in a snow bank, you’ll be quickly discovered. Just like the Oakley Great Ascent jacket, the pants will help you throw down even harder this winter.

Mophie Juice Pack Plus Review

Running out of iPhone battery life sucks and it’s even worse when you’re on the mountain or in the middle of nowhere. This used to happen to me all the time. Thanks to Mophie’s Juice Pack Plus, I can listen to music, work on emails on the lift and make calls all day long with no more worries about running out of battery. This case easily gets your iPhone 4 or 4S more than a full battery life’s worth of charge. It’s really sweet!
