K2 Pon2oon Ski Review

The K2 Pon2oons are the second generation of the Shane McConkey inspired ski that changed how we think about powder skiing. A handful of modifications were made to the original to make it more aggressive — particularly at high speeds — while still maintaining its surfy feel. These changes include: a stiffer tail, less rocker (it still has plenty) and less pintail. The 179s (they're also available in 169 and 189) spec at out-of-this-world 157-132-122 mm dimensions and feature obligatory tip and tail rocker for maximum flotation

Lib Tech Skunk Ape C2BTX Snowboard 2011 Review

This board is amazing! I researched this board a lot before finally dropping the cash on it, but I'm so glad that I did. Initially I had my doubts about the "Magne-Traction" and "Banana Rocker" and thought that they might be just the latest advertising gimmicks, but I was straight wrong!

Volkl Gotama 2011 Review

Volkl has what most consider a cult following with their Gotama ski over the past several seasons. It was known for doing it all and doing all well. Mediocre was not in it's vocabulary.

Arbor Westmark Snowboard 2011 Review

As a rocker board you get the total control that comes with it along with a very forgiving ride. i have yet to catch an edge. probably the best thing about this board is that it rides well in almost any terrain

Never Summer Heritage Rocker Snowboard 2011 Review

When every Never Summer Heritage is built, Hermione Granger apparates into the factory to weave highly advanced spells for lightness, grip and power into each layer of the board. This makes it the most magical board available to us muggles, guaranteeing an advantage on the hill to the lucky owner, which s/he will feel in every turn. The first time you step onto your Heritage, the bond is made (just like in Avatar when Jake captured his flying mount!) and the board is linked to your motor cortex, enabling it to seamlessly track lines, as you visualize them, with minimal musculoskeletal effort.

Rome Graft Rocker Snowboard 2011 Review

I recently picked up a Graft Rocker from Rome Snowboards, and I must say it was a great choice. I've been riding this snowboard the past few storms at Jackson Hole and it's been perfect. Centered stance, rocker in the middle, and aggressive camber underfoot. I've heard all the hype, as we all have, about rockered/cambered snowboards and all of it seems true. Slashing on this snowboard is easy, breezy, beautiful only because that targeted camber engages some mystical, hidden power I've never felt on a snowboard.
