K2 Pon2oon Ski Review

The K2 Pon2oons are the second generation of the Shane McConkey inspired ski that changed how we think about powder skiing. A handful of modifications were made to the original to make it more aggressive — particularly at high speeds — while still maintaining its surfy feel. These changes include: a stiffer tail, less rocker (it still has plenty) and less pintail. The 179s (they're also available in 169 and 189) spec at out-of-this-world 157-132-122 mm dimensions and feature obligatory tip and tail rocker for maximum flotation

Line Mr. Pollard's Opus Ski Review

There was so much hype around Line’s Mr. Pollard’s Opus ski this past fall. For Eric Pollard to claim that this iteration of his pro model ski is his masterpiece — a ski design that took over 10 years to complete — well, that was saying a lot. Although I’d never skied a pair of Line Skis before, I had to have a pair.

Atomic Automatic Ski Review

Looking to get involved in the exploding hybrid powder ski market and bridge the gap between its freestyle-centric and massively popular Bent Chetler and the more pure big-mountain charger, the Atlas, Atomic is launching a new ski next year, the Automatic.

Coreupt Slasher Skis Review

Pure Fun. That’s how the Coreupt Slasher skis should be described. Richard Permin has designed one of the most versatile skis that I’ve ever used. The Slasher skis (131mm x 112mm x 128mm) are great in pow, on groomers, in the air and anywhere else you’ll want to go during a day on the hill. The Slasher is quite possibly the best one ski quiver on the market. I have taken this ski everywhere on the mountain and it excels everywhere you’ll want to go.

Armada AK JJ Ski Review

Thank You ARMADA! I wanted to get on a pair of JJ’s for a while, but was always hesitant due to their not being available in a length that was to my liking. They were always too short. Well, that all changed this season with the AK version of the JJ. I’m so glad that ARMADA made this change and it was definitely worth the wait.

CoreUPT Candide Yard Skis 2011 Review

Skis like the Candide Yard by CoreUPT have two distinct target skiers. So this review is going to have two distinct paragraphs. If you’re a park rat with Candide Thovex YouTube videos in your browsing history, proceed to paragraph #1. If you’re an upper intermediate all-mountain skier who has no idea what a Candide Thovex is, please refer to paragraph #2.
