Your iPhone is your lifeline on the hill no matter if it’s bluebird or a socked-in storm day. It wakes you up at the crack of dawn, keys you into important snow and avalanche reports, coordinates with your buds, keeps you updated on when the Tram’s finally going to open, and blasts tunes all day.

There are a number of wooden iPhone cases out there, but most of them are two piece and often separate in your pocket, making them pretty, but useless. The wooden Hacoa case for the iPhone 4 and 4S is laser cut from one piece of wood. It feels and looks so cool you just may find yourself caressing your magic device twice as much.

This is one of the cooler snowboard games I have found. The graphics are sweet. The tricks and grabs are cool. The lite version is pretty solid and you don't have to pay for the full version to fully enjoy yourself. Having poured through a number of games recently, I give this a thumbs up.

One look at the main character of this game and it is obvious it is off the back. How can you call yourself a backcountry ski game, when the main character is in cotton jeans, no hat, no eye protection, and skinny skis. There is not much good about this app that I can say. There is a light version for free and one for $1.99. I will continue my search for a cool ski game. This is not it.

This is the best snow report iPhone app I have found. It works great and the best part is it is free. You can track your days on snow, get the latest weather, link to avalanche reports and do a whole lot more.
