Lib Tech POW Nas Review 2013

Atomic Benchetler Ski Review

I ski the 183 Atomic Bent Chetler 90 percent of the time. They excel in pow, but can essentially be a one quiver ski. They are 142 mm in the tip, 123 mm under foot, and 134 mm in the tail, with a 19 meter turn radius. And the camber under foot makes them super stable on hard pack. The flex and design is great for a super playful feel in the pow. It’s the best ski I’ve skied for buttering, slashes, and more or less surfing the snow.

Smith Variant Helmet Review

You’ve probably seen this helmet on the hill. The Variant, Smith's best-selling and award-winning helmet, utilizes an adjustable Boa dial that expands and contracts to fit even the most block-headed bros on the slopes. Its nearly universal fit and lightweight design are two reasons this helmet is a popular choice for the safety conscious.

DPS Wailer 99 Pure Ski Review

I spent the majority of my season skiing DPS' Wailer 112RP Hybrids and found them to be an an unbelievable resort and sidecountry powder ski that's remarkably versatile nearly everywhere else. When Jackson Hole's snow report calls for something other than fresh powder, however, I typically find myself reaching into my quiver for a different type of ski. DPS' Wailer 99 Pure compliments the 112s perfectly in this regard.

Black Diamond Gigawatt Ski Review

F-15 fighter jets, that’s what the Black Diamond Gigawatts feel like when they are strapped to my feet. Maching through the powder, making huge turns, these are the best skis I had the pleasure to ride all season. Seriously, when I look back at the moments that were the best, most of the time these skis were on my feet.

DPS Wailer 112RP Hybrid Ski Review

With all the acclaim that surrounds DPS and its signature Wailer 112RP, I knew a pair belonged in my quiver. My order arrived in early December and they quickly became my go-to resort and sidecountry powder ski for all but the deepest days (DPS has a different ski just for that — the Lotus 138). Through a combination of aggressive sidecut (141-112-128), tapered tips and tails, as well as rocker (450 mm at the tip and 400 mm at the tail) they take skiing powder to a whole new dimension. The sidecut allows for easy and quick turn initiation, while the rocker provides smooth floatation to ski untracked snow effortlessly.

Atomic Bent Chetler Ski Review

For the deep pow ,I love this ski. It's nimble, and has pop, floats smooth, and stomps easily. It's a playful ski that can charge in the deep and slice through the crud.

Black Diamond Megawatt Ski Review

This ski has "rocker," or early rise only in the tips of the ski. It has very slight camber with a flat tail but is still a twin tip. ...
