The premiss of avalanche safety is that you wok as a team, train, and have the right gear. This amazing new product defies all of these conventions.

DPS Wailer 112RP Hybrid Ski Review

With all the acclaim that surrounds DPS and its signature Wailer 112RP, I knew a pair belonged in my quiver. My order arrived in early December and they quickly became my go-to resort and sidecountry powder ski for all but the deepest days (DPS has a different ski just for that — the Lotus 138). Through a combination of aggressive sidecut (141-112-128), tapered tips and tails, as well as rocker (450 mm at the tip and 400 mm at the tail) they take skiing powder to a whole new dimension. The sidecut allows for easy and quick turn initiation, while the rocker provides smooth floatation to ski untracked snow effortlessly.

Atomic Bent Chetler Ski Review

For the deep pow ,I love this ski. It's nimble, and has pop, floats smooth, and stomps easily. It's a playful ski that can charge in the deep and slice through the crud.

Dynafit Huascaran Review

When the lift attendant took my skis off the gondola rack at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, she was shocked, “Wow! These are LIGHT!" She thought she was going to be yanking on another pair of super-fat and super-heavy skis, but I was on the Dynafit Huascaran- no ordinary ski. The Huascaran (136-115-125) is a true new school freeride ski.

Atomic Automatic Ski Review

Looking to get involved in the exploding hybrid powder ski market and bridge the gap between its freestyle-centric and massively popular Bent Chetler and the more pure big-mountain charger, the Atlas, Atomic is launching a new ski next year, the Automatic.

Coreupt Slasher Skis Review

Pure Fun. That’s how the Coreupt Slasher skis should be described. Richard Permin has designed one of the most versatile skis that I’ve ever used. The Slasher skis (131mm x 112mm x 128mm) are great in pow, on groomers, in the air and anywhere else you’ll want to go during a day on the hill. The Slasher is quite possibly the best one ski quiver on the market. I have taken this ski everywhere on the mountain and it excels everywhere you’ll want to go.

Armada AK JJ Ski Review

Thank You ARMADA! I wanted to get on a pair of JJ’s for a while, but was always hesitant due to their not being available in a length that was to my liking. They were always too short. Well, that all changed this season with the AK version of the JJ. I’m so glad that ARMADA made this change and it was definitely worth the wait.
