I always pack my ski gear in a duffel bag before I head up to the hill. It just seems like it’s the easiest way to keep everything together and makes transporting simple. I thought I had the right bag for my gear until I tried the Thule Crossover 70L Duffel Bag and realized that my life could have been so much easier.
This Thule bag is perfect for my needs and I use it every time I go skiing in conjunction with my Dakine Boot Pack. The Crossover 70L Duffel Bag is really light weight, the materials, like aluminum hardware and water-resistant fabrics, are very high quality and the various additional features are just plain smart. Some of my favorite features of the bag are the heat-molded, crush-proof Safe Zone compartment for goggles, sunglasses or ipod, the full zippered access to the main compartment and the compression straps to minimize the size of the bag when it’s less than full. There are also plenty of zippered pockets for your season pass, phone or keys and the gusseted side pockets work well for helmets, beanies and gloves.
Another highlight to this bag is that the bottom is reinforced, padded and has raised rails which helps the bag keep its form while packing and unpacking and protects your gear on your many ski adventures. I’m really stoked on this bag and will continue to take it on all my ski trips. Definitely check it out if you’re looking for a simple solution to storing and transporting your ski gear.
