Smith Vantage Helmet Review
In my experience, it's hard to go wrong with Smith Optics when it comes to protection. They make high quality, stylish products that are both functional and high performance and their Vantage Helmet represents a pinnacle of this convergence.
The Vantage includes a number of features that meet and often exceed many standards for helmets today. There are front and back sets of vents for optimal temperature control. The helmet is audio compatible thanks to this handy Skullcandy accessory for when you’re lapping a resort on your own. The Vantage also features a brim that provides some depth to a helmet’s otherwise round shape without interfering with your ability to take your goggles off. Its brim also has slots in it that aid in ventilation and help prevent your goggles from fogging up.
On top of the above, the Vantage includes a BOA system that allows for fine-tuning of its fit. It also seamlessly integrates with Smith’s goggle line to help avoid those awkward gaps between the two on cold days.
Don't believe me? Ask Sage. If it's good enough for him in Alaska, it's more than good enough for me here in Jackson.
