There’s a time for tech and there’s a time for steeze when it comes to your daily watch selection and the new Shark Orion watch is all about steeze. Featuring a black case, over-sized face, grey dial and grey leather band, this watch will make you look good no matter what you do. It’s not the type of watch that you’ll want to take in the water or go riding with, but who cares because it’ll make your wrist look pretty damn pimp while you’re drinking a beer.
Shark is a higher-end line of Freestyle watches that’s poised for big things in the action sports industry. If you’ve used Freestyle products before then you know that they’re top quality and work great. I have a Freestyle surfing/water watch that I’ve been wearing for over 7 years now that is by far the best surfing watch I have ever owned and I definitely trust the brand. The Shark Orion is now my go-to casual watch of choice for everyday use, going to a bar with friends or just hanging out.
Some of my favorite things about this watch are the big face for easy time reading and the low profile case that nicely slips under any cuff. There are far too many bulky watches these days that catch on jackets and don’t fit under shirt cuffs. I personally hate those watches. The Orion doesn’t have these problems and keeps my wrist happy.
