DaKine Sequence Photo Backpack Review

There are days when you can get by with just a camera body and a single lens. But there are also times when you need to be fully equipped, and that means you’ll need to bring a lot more gear. In times like these, the Dakine Sequence backpack should be your go-to bag.

Made with lightweight but durable nylon and boasting the largest capacity of any of the Dakine photo packs, the Sequence has room for just about everything. There are a ton of external zippered pockets surrounding the main compartment so there’s room for your laptop (up to 15”), extra memory cards, batteries, flashes; you got it, and there’s a pocket for you to put it in.

The main compartment, which accessible from the back, holds a removable padded block for your VIP equipment. This configurable block allows you to make room for what you need most – be it a camera body and multiple lenses or a couple of bodies and a couple of lenses.

And let’s not forget that comfort is paramount when you’re trekking around with your gear for hours on end. Camera gear can get heavy quickly when you’re not properly equipped. But the Sequence’s padded shoulders, back and waist belt will ensure a comfortable fit.

This bag may have been designed for those who are heading into the backcountry or onto the slopes, but it really doesn’t matter where you’re headed because the Sequence will hold your camera gear safely no matter where your travels take you.
