DNA Moe Jacket Review

The DNA Moe jacket is proof that you can still find reasonably priced ski gear that doesn’t skimp on performance.

I was lucky enough to take the Moe out for a few test drives last season during multiple snow storms and it never once let me down. The Moe is a very high-quality jacket that incorporates 20K mm waterproof and windproof 100 percent Polyester Matt 4 Way Stretch Fabric, sealed seams, detachable hood, zippered arm vents and powder skirt. You’ll love the way this jacket stretches and adjusts to your skiing needs.

I like to think of the Moe as a straightforward, no-nonsense jacket that is perfect for the type of skier who wants performance, a progressive, but non-flashy look and all the necessary features that will make your day on the hill even more enjoyable. The overall jacket cut is very comfortable and not too baggy, while the solid classic color options won’t have you sticking out like a sore thumb one season later when plaid is out of style.

This may not seem like a big thing, but the season pass case is awesome! The case hangs slightly below the bottom hem of the jacket for the simplest pass reading you’ll ever experience and can be Velcroed up into the jacket when you don’t need to use it. I’m very surprised that other companies do not copy this great feature since it’s so convenient. Nice work DNA.

Some other things to note about the Moe are that the hood will fit over your helmet, the internal goggle pocket is very convenient and the cuffs are big enough for under cuff gloves. This is a lot of jacket for $365.
