April 7, 2016. Darrin DeRosa, Clement DuTruel and Michel Beauchemin (me) did what seems to be the first descent of this gnarly line. Many people had been looking at it for years as it is located in the Purcells just north of Golden, BC and is fairly easy to spot from the Trans-Canada Highway. With huge exposure, chokes down to 3 meters (10 ft) wide and a sustained angle up to 55+ degrees, it is easy to understand why no one had tackled this 940m (3100 ft) line yet.
