Mike Hornbeck paid a visit to Pennsylvania to Big Boulder's park this past December. Big Boulder had some great features set up and a rail graveyard at the base of the mountain boasting a very impressive array of rails that Hornbeck looks forward to sessioning later in the season.

ARcast Early Season Part 1- "The Beginning" featuring Phil Casabon and Henrik Harlaut
This past December Mammoth found itself with excellent early season conditions, tons of snow, and an Unbound Terrain Park that could arguably match up to the size and quality of most other resort parks mid-season.
Phil Casabon and Henrik Harlaut begin their season in the Unbound park, with this ARcast being shot throughout three days of perfectly sunny, wind free days of park lapping in early December.
Big Thanks to Mammoth Mountain for creating an epic park so early in the season.

Pulga was a chef at Roca Negra lodge at Evolve Chile, where Hornbeck, Moxham, and Brady resided for most of the time during the shooting of The Meltdown. This past March, the Armada team embarked on an area not necessarily known for it's skiing, Turkey. They were surprised to find ample amounts of snow and a very friendly and curious people to the freeskiing culture.
Legend JP Auclair and young gun Torin Yater Wallace skied everything from rails, jumps, to old Turkish army barracks throughout Uludag and Kartal Kaya.
This is ARtrip Turkey.

According to JP:
I didn't have any film commitment last week so I took a chance and did something I had been waiting to do since last december; pack the car, go to Cham and catch up with the characters over there.
The weather wasn't looking too good but everyone I spoke to told me to make my way and "see what happens".
I also had new planks from Armada Skis to try out so I figured, even if it was stormy, I could still go for a couple turns. Turns out I had an amazing three days! Fresh track on the north face of the Aiguille and hot lapping Les Grands Montets.
A huge thanks to Andreas, Bjarne, Tof, Tom & Ben for letting me tag along, for setting up bomber anchors and opening routes!

On this day 10 years ago, Armada officially opened doors for business. It was this video, the original Armada Team video, that was used to jump start it all. To this video and the athletes, we are eternally grateful.

In the waning moments of New Zealand's winter season, the Armada team headed down to Snowpark to session its near perfect jump line and halfpipe. The team also did a sunrise to sunset shoot, starting on Cardrona's 90+ ft. table top and finishing with the Snowpark bottom jump, with some of the most mind blowing sunset backdrops out.

Traveling alongside Evolve Chile, watch as the crew explores the sidecountry of Nevados de Chilan, skate the streets of Santiago, and ride the parks of Valle Nevado and El Colorado. Aside from all of the action, Meltdown South paints a picture of the beautiful culture and rich history of Chile, through its people and its places both metropolitan and far off the grid.
You will not see a short movie about Chile quite like this. This is the Meltdown South.
