On April 6th, 2011, the veteran backcountry skier was skinning up his favorite backcountry run when he triggered an avalanche that swept him and two friends hundreds of feet through steep trees. We are very proud to support the North Shore Mountain Bike Association (NSMBA) [http://nsmba.ca/] and their Trail Adoption Plan (TAP) [http://nsmba.ca/trail-adoption-plan]. Started in 2011, TAP has already resulted in over 40 trail days and 4,400 hours being spent on restoring nine local trails -- and 2012 promises to double that. Arc'teryx has been involved in a variety of ways, adopting the Dreamweaver trail and sponsoring the first-ever Trail Builder Academy [http://nsmba.ca/north-shore-builder-academy-presented-arcteryx].
