Gillette is so money

they sent me a free Mach 3 Turbo razor for my 18th birthday. I have no idea how they got my addy and b-day, but they did, and they sent me a razor. (though it did come a month late

)

So I told my mom and she was like "oh they're just trying to win you over and inspire brand loyalty" and i'm like yah, they are. And it worked....cause Schick didn't send me nothin!

I love how they do that. One of the greatest promotions ever.

I don't know if it has to do with registering for selective service, because I got mine well before I registered (I forgot, too). Do non-Mass residents get them? I think it's just because Gillette is in Boston, but maybe not.

maybe it's only "commonwealth" residents, 'cuz i got whatever their latest technology was when before i hit the big 1-8 while living in PA.

thats funny. i went down to the po to do it when i turned 18 and they were out of forms. never went back.

now im 35, so i dont think it matters anymore.

I don't think it matters where you are, they send it anyways. I got on in Minnesota before I registered. Although now that I think about it, I think Gillette does have something in Mn too...

No, its not only mass residents that get them. I live in NY and when I turned 18 they sent me one.

Great court ruling in Holland yesterday. Gillette and Wilkinson Sword were having a legal dispute over which could claim the sharpest razors.

An exasperated magistrate eventually decreed that they could both make the claim because it was likely that a hackneyed and cynical public would believe neither of them anyway.

Gotta love those crazy Dutch!

Flew from JFK to Leningrad (back when it still was Leningrad) and they near had to pour me off that plane.

Of course spending my 6 hour layover in an Amsterdam coffee shop didnt hurt any.

They send those razors out here in MI too.

Its sweet until you need go buy replacement blades, they are a fuckin ripoff!

also FYI- If you never got a razor you can contact them and they will send out one per household.
