What happened to FIGJAM? I thought that was an awesome idea for a movie.

Oh well, I just watched the trailer for 8 Years Later and it looks sweet. Another good idea for sure. Psyched to see the final product!

I definitely recognize some of those names and faces, but who is Pat Doyle?

    Answer to questions:
F.I.G.J.A.M. is not dead!! It will live on - as either a clip within "8YL" or a short film next winter. Just want to make sure we have the right pieces to make it happen.

Regarding the Pat Doyle question...you'll just have to tune into "8YL" and find out. The film is going to feature some names you know, but also a group of skiers you have never heard of, but like all ski areas of the world...we have a lot of unsung ski rockstars and I'm going to expose 'em: Pat Doyle, Patrick Sewell, John Nicolleta, Willy Volckhausen, etc...
Still curious: some more tidbits at www.youtube.com/tankshine

Mr. Braun, thanks for the good word. There will be a premiere in Aspen, but might go smaller than the Wheeler. Going to have a ski season blast off party, drink some beer, listen to loud music, check out the flick and raffle off some Volkl gear... so stay tuned in!!

Nice! I love 1999. One of the best ski films ever. I still watch it to get excited every fall. It is great to see it revisited now. Stoked to see 8YL!
