TR – Switzerland, Titlis – Half a powder day

They got about 35cm two days ago. Yesterday it was foggy and windy all day and by the look of it not many worked hard enough to track the mountain.

Surprisingly good snow on the top of “Steinberg”, followed by good variable snow half way down and hard pack icy stuff on the traverse back. “Sulz” not too bad as well. Some good stuff almost all the way down and again a not so nice traverse back. “Laub” was a different story. First 200m vertical perfect, then 200m variable, then 400m really bad stuff unpredictable and no fun at all, last 200m some nice spring powder.

    Any some pics

Good to see that Switzerland has at least a good end to the season.

Who told you that I never have to work? I actually work full time but I keep dreaming about winning the jackpot one day and then I would go skiing all year round for sure

No! it wasn't foggy all day. It cleared up after a couple of hours and it was awesome. And we DID work hard... it's just that we weren't that many

    Thumbs up Great pics, Paedde!

Great shots, as usual. I finally got around to registering so I can finally add my 1/2 cents worth.

BTW, On April 5, Rob wrote "I'm getting along just fine, still feeling the
effects of things, especially the lower back....but every week is
better....health care worked out ok". Keep up your campaign about helmets! If not for his helmet, Rob would have suffered much worse than 5 broken ribs, a punctured lung and a lacerated liver. The trees win too often!

    Watch out for sharp rocks!

    Hi Ron

Great to have you here posting as well!

Helmets are a must in my opinion. This week on the Titlis my ski partner fall on ice. Without a helmet = end of day or worse
