    Sweet.

Both my sons 2 and 6 went for the first time this past Saturday. I did not get video but I did get pictures. It was a great day.

That's awesome to see. When we get some snow in Minnesota and the massive 300' vertical drop is open I'm getting my son (just turned 3) out on skis. I invested in all the things he needs to stay warm, get down the hill, and not get hurt. Now I just hope he loves it.

Nice. My 2 year old son rode the chairlift for the first time last weekend. Definitley a big moment for him; he'd been wanting to ski for a while already.

WAY TO KILL IT LITTLE STEVE!!

Watch out - you've got a freeskier on your hands!! I can see it now...

"Dad lets go hit the park!"

"Dad lets go drop that huge cliff!"

"Dad did you just see my switch, off axis 9? I think if I throw in a truckdriver it will look real steezy!"

Can't you wait?? I am so psyched for you!

+1 - in my sons first year of skiing he had lessons at Okemo, Flatton, Killington, and Mt. Snow - Killington instructors were far superior to any of the other mountains. (for little ones at least)

Hey congrats! Getting things rolling for my girls this weekend. 7 year old starts her first year of racing, and the 4 year old starts lessons, all Sat morning. And I will be there with the video camera as well, will make the US Ski Team awards dinner far more memorable with the vids from the beginning!

It is so much fun to watch your kids follow into a sport you love. Enjoy, he'll be leaving you in his dust very soon I'm sure. Take lot's of vids while you can still keep up!

That's the way to teach, turns are for pussies...straight-line it all the way. Hell, he is already better than dad.

It is so much fun to ski with your kids. My younger one is at the point of..."come on dad, let's do a new black diamond." I am just worried how I will handle it when she wants to start skiing lines with consequences.
